Once you enter the city, the sight of the wharfs will capture your attention. This is the best place to start exploring the city. Following your stroll along the wharfs, head over to the China Canal Culture Museum and learn the history of the world’s first canal. The museum introduces the history of the canal’s development, canal construction technology and its important cultural impact.
In the late afternoon make your way to the Jingyang Ridge Scenic Area to tour the Temple of Wusong, then stop at the village wine shop for a tasting, and select the perfect wine to compliment your dinner.
